
Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, student portal, student mobile app, parent mobile app, partner mobile app, AI Counsellor, test series, college predictor, closing-rank tools, choice-filling assistant, and referral/partner programs (together, the "Platform") operated by M B Patil Education Private Limited ("MBP MedGo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must provide accurate information (name, mobile number, NEET details) when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and OTP confidential, and for all activity under your account.
- Login is OTP-based for student and parent flows. You must not share OTPs, invite codes, or session access with anyone who is not authorised to use your account.
- If you are a minor, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware of and supervises your use of the Platform, including any purchase.
- Parent accounts may view a linked student's information only when linked through the invite-code flow. Students and parents are responsible for sharing invite codes only with trusted parents or guardians.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, share login access, or are used for fraud or abuse.
3. Device limits and fair use
- Each student package is for one individual student's personal, non-commercial use. It is not a family, coaching-centre, classroom, library, reseller, or shared-institute licence unless we expressly agree in writing.
- A student account may be used on up to 3 active devices at the same time, unless a package page states a different device limit. Devices can include web browsers, phones, tablets, or other compatible devices.
- We may ask you to verify your OTP again, remove old device sessions, or contact support if you change phones, reset your device, or exceed the fair-use device limit.
- Sharing OTPs, passwords, session links, screenshots, exported data, or paid content with other students is prohibited. We may temporarily lock, restrict, or terminate accounts showing unusual login patterns, bulk data access, automated scraping, or commercial sharing.
- Device compatibility can change based on operating-system updates, browser support, app-store rules, or third-party software. We will try to support current mainstream Android, iOS, and modern web browsers, but cannot guarantee every old or modified device will remain compatible.
4. Our services
The Platform provides tools including:
- A NEET rank estimator and college admission predictor based on historical closing-rank data.
- Closing rank, seat matrix, fee/stipend/bond, and allotment data for All India and state-level counselling.
- An AI-assisted counselling chat ('AI Counsellor') that answers questions using your stated profile and our knowledge base.
- A choice-filling assistant that helps you build and prioritise your counselling preference list.
- Test series, practice analytics, performance history, and related educational content.
- Parent and partner dashboards for approved linked users.
- A student referral program and an institute partner referral program (see Sections 6 and 7).
5. Predictions are estimates, not guarantees
This is important: nothing on the Platform guarantees admission to any college, course, or quota. Our rank estimates, admission-probability percentages, and "safe / target / dream" classifications are generated from historical closing-rank data and configurable statistical models. Actual closing ranks vary every counselling year based on seat availability, number of candidates, category-wise reservations, and choices made by other candidates — factors outside our control. You should treat every prediction as a planning aid, not a certainty, and should independently verify information against official MCC/state counselling authority sources before making counselling decisions.
Similarly, replies from our AI Counsellor are generated by a third-party AI model based on the information you provide and our knowledge base. They are provided for general guidance only, are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice, and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Always cross-check critical decisions with official sources or a qualified counsellor.
6. Packages, payments and refunds
- Package pricing is displayed on our Packages page and is inclusive of applicable GST.
- Web purchases and purchases for services consumed outside the app may be processed through our licensed payment gateway partner, currently Easebuzz. We do not store your full card, UPI, wallet, or bank account details on our servers.
- Where Apple App Store or Google Play policies require in-app purchase or Play Billing for digital content or app-consumed services, purchases offered inside the iOS or Android app will follow the applicable Apple or Google billing rules. App-store purchases may also be subject to Apple's or Google's own payment, cancellation, tax, and refund terms.
- Paid access is activated only after our systems confirm successful payment through the payment gateway, callback, webhook, or server-to-server verification.
- Refunds are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- We may update package pricing and features at any time; changes do not affect packages you've already purchased.
7. Student referral program
- Each student is issued a unique referral code. You may share it with friends; if they purchase a package using your code, you earn the reward amount displayed in your Refer & Earn dashboard at the time of that purchase.
- Withdrawal requests are paid out to the UPI ID you provide, typically within 2 business days, subject to verification.
- We may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through fraudulent, duplicate, or self-referral activity.
8. Institute partner program
- Institutes approved as partners receive a unique referral code and a partner dashboard to track students they refer and resulting sales.
- Commission is a flat amount per successful sale, as agreed with each partner, calculated on the package amount at the time of that sale.
- We may suspend a partner account for misuse of its referral code, misrepresentation to prospective students, or breach of these Terms.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute our closing-rank, seat-matrix, or predictor data for a competing commercial service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other students', partners', or admin accounts or data.
- Use the AI Counsellor to attempt to extract our underlying prompts, system configuration, or other users' data.
- Misuse payment, refund, referral, partner, invite-code, or withdrawal flows.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts its operation for other users.
10. Notifications and communications
We may send OTPs, service messages, payment confirmations, support updates, counselling reminders, and app notifications that are necessary for operating the Platform. Marketing communications will be sent only where permitted by law or where you have consented, and you may opt out of non-essential communications.
11. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform — including our compiled closing-rank datasets, software, design, logo, and the "MBP MedGo" name — is owned by us or our licensors. You may use it for your personal, non-commercial counselling planning only.
12. Third-party links and official counselling sources
The Platform may link to MCC, state counselling authorities, institutes, payment processors, app stores, AI providers, or other third-party websites and services. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, policies, deadlines, or errors. Always verify final counselling dates, document formats, seat matrices, allotment results, joining instructions, and fee requirements with the official authority or institute before acting.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MBP MedGo and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, including loss arising from reliance on a prediction, AI Counsellor reply, or data that later differs from official counselling outcomes. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid package is limited to the amount you paid for that package.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, with or without notice, without affecting any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
You may request account deletion through the contact details in our Privacy Policy. Some records may be retained where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune.
