
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: 16 July 2026
1. Nature of our packages
MBP MedGo packages (e.g. the NEET UG package) are digital products. On confirmation of payment, you get immediate access to our predictor, closing-rank, choice-filling, and counselling tools and data for the counselling cycle that package covers. Because access — and the underlying data — is granted instantly and in full, our refund policy is stricter than for physical goods, for the reasons explained below.
2. General policy: no refund once access is granted
Once your package payment is confirmed and your account access is activated, that purchase is final and non-refundable. This applies regardless of how much of the Platform you actually use, because the data and tools are made available to you in full immediately. We encourage you to review the package features and pricing on our Packages page carefully before purchasing, and to contact us with any questions beforehand.
3. Exceptions — when a refund or correction applies
We will refund or correct a payment in the following situations:
- Duplicate payment: if you were charged more than once for the same package by Easebuzz or due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
- Incorrect amount charged: if you were charged an amount different from the listed package price due to an error on our end.
- Access not granted: if your payment was confirmed but, due to a fault on our end, your account access was never activated, and our support team is unable to activate it within 5 business days of you reporting the issue.
- Gateway-confirmed failed payment: if the payment gateway confirms that a transaction failed or was reversed and no access was granted, we will not treat it as a completed purchase.
In each of these cases, contact us within 7 days of the payment with your invoice number and a description of the issue, and we will investigate and process any eligible refund within 7–10 business days to your original payment method (or, where that's not possible, via UPI/bank transfer after verifying your identity).
4. Payment gateway status and pending transactions
Payments are processed through Easebuzz. A bank, UPI app, wallet, card issuer, or payment gateway may temporarily show a transaction as pending even before MBP MedGo receives final confirmation. Paid access is activated only after our systems confirm successful payment through the payment gateway, callback, webhook, or server-to-server verification.
If money is debited but the payment does not succeed, the reversal or refund timeline may depend on the payment method, issuing bank, UPI provider, wallet, or gateway. We will assist by checking the transaction status using your registered mobile number and invoice or transaction reference.
5. Apple App Store and Google Play purchases
If a package, subscription, or digital entitlement is purchased inside the iOS app through Apple in-app purchase, the payment, cancellation, tax invoice, and refund process may be handled by Apple under Apple Media Services and App Store rules. You may need to request refunds through Apple Support or your Apple account purchase history.
If a package, subscription, or digital entitlement is purchased inside the Android app through Google Play Billing, the payment, cancellation, tax invoice, and refund process may be handled by Google under Google Play rules. You may need to request refunds through Google Play or your Google account purchase history.
Where Apple or Google processes the purchase, MBP MedGo may not be able to directly reverse the store transaction, but we will assist with entitlement correction if the store confirms a successful purchase and access was not activated.
6. Device-limit and account-sharing violations
Refunds are not available where access is restricted, locked, or terminated because the account was shared beyond the permitted device limit, used by multiple unauthorised users, used for scraping or redistribution, or otherwise violated our Terms & Conditions.
7. Cancellation
Since access is granted immediately on payment, there is no "cancellation" of an active package in the way there would be for a recurring subscription — packages are one-time purchases for a counselling cycle, not auto-renewing subscriptions, unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
8. Referral and partner payouts are not covered here
This policy covers refunds on package purchases. Student referral rewards and institute partner commissions are governed separately by our Terms & Conditions, and are not "refunds" — they are payouts owed to you that we may withhold only in cases of suspected fraud or policy violation.
9. How to request a refund
Email or call our support team (see our Contact Us page) with your registered mobile number, invoice number, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond to every refund request within 48 hours.
Please do not raise duplicate support requests for the same transaction. Duplicate requests can slow down verification with the gateway and bank.
10. Chargebacks and disputes
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, wallet, UPI provider, or card issuer, we may temporarily pause package access linked to the disputed transaction while the dispute is investigated. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may lead to account suspension.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. M B Patil Education Private Limited reserves the right to make reasonable exceptions to this policy at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
